Natural White Peace Silk {Organza Silk Fabric}

Our Natural White Silk Organza Fabric is an organic, undyed fabric that is hand-woven from wild-harvested silk cocoons. Referred to as "peace silk" or Ahimsa silk, this material is ethically sourced, allowing the silk moth to complete its natural lifecycle before the cocoon is harvested. The fabric is light and transparent yet has a certain stiffness that gives it structure. This combination of properties enables it to serve as a versatile silk for various uses such as: table decor, backdrop styling, editorial photo shoots, curtains, and bespoke fashion design.

Note | Due to this product's delicate weave and handmade nature, there may be irregularities in the weave. This is a perfectly imperfect textile.

Sold by the yard. Multiple yards come continuous. Your fabric comes folded, and ironing is recommended to remove fold creases.

CARE / dry cleaning or hand washing is preferred. Iron on medium heat to remove creases. NOTE: this material is ultra-delicate; machine washing can compromise the weave and texture. 

This fabric is cut and sold by the yard. Edges may be trimmed slightly unevenly, and a 1/4 yard is added on each piece to accommodate this.  The fabric comes folded and will require ironing to remove creases.
