Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument
The inspiration from this shoot-out workshop hosted by Laura Murray and Janna Brown Design came from a wild and untamed aesthetic, with a soft vintage touch. Captured and shared by the photographer, Rachel Kavanagh of Rachel Erin Photography. Erin writes,
"It is a photographer's dream... sunrise magic in the early morning light… this beautifully designed styled shoot was held in the desert fossil beds of Las Vegas, Nevada. Soft pastel colors surround an untouched mountain-scape with desert flora and rocks. This shoot-out had beautifully wild & untamed florals, a soft and romantic table-scape design with a pink, gold and tan color palate. The model was dressed in a gorgeous Carol Hannah Gown that had so much movement and was in an antique lilac hue. Silk ribbon dripped from her bouquet of soft pastel roses and greenery. The mountain desert landscape was rugged yet elegant, with the cloudy sky casting a milky muted hue of tan brown and baby blue. The two lovely models had a natural connection and so beautifully posed as a couple in love. Although it was a chilly 40-degree morning as the wind blew in over the hills, everyone was in awe of this shoot designed by Janna Brown."
