Botanical Print No. 108 silk ribbon has a light dove base hue with coreopsis flower markings throughout. Botanical prints come from a combination of dried and fresh coreopsis flowers. Whole flowers with stems and leaves are included to create botanical prints that dance across the ribbon. A ribbon that can only be created when our gardens is in full bloom. Our fresh-picked and dried flowers are rolled into silk and steamed to make their lasting imprints. 

Please note that the markings on each ribbon will vary, with some showcasing abstract designs and others capturing the intricate details of the flowers. The amount of flowers and markings on each ribbon will vary. These variations of each ribbon make them a one-of-a-kind work of art, that breathes the essence of nature.

Plant Dyes are more subtle and complex than those created by synthetic dyes. You are purchasing a "living color" that is unique and one-of-a-kind. While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Habutai Silk Bias Ribbon. Silk weight 12mm.

Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
