Botanical Print No. 83
Botanical Print no. 83 is a RARE beauty. It can only be created within a short window of time when our gardens are in full bloom.
A botanical print silk ribbon celebrating the transitions in nature.
Crafted from our garden harvest of coreopsis flowers, plucked in transition with fresh and dried bloom.
An earthy champagne hue crafted from our locally harvested walnuts makes the base hue. It's a warm and inviting hue. NOTE / Images are taken in natural sunlight, and as the light reflects off the natural pigments making them appear lighter in the photos. The base hue is darker in person.
EACH RIBBON IS ONE-OF-A-KIND — the Art of Nature, captured in lasting form.
While all ribbons are created the same, the differences between each ribbon can be quite drastic. The number of markings on each ribbon can vary. See images for a range of possible botanical prints.
Each ribbon is unique, and markings vary on each ribbon.
— the Art of Nature, captured in lasting form. A unique adornment for your custom bridal bouquet.
Plant Dyes are more subtle and complex than those created by synthetic dyes. You are purchasing a "living color" that is unique and one-of-a-kind. While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Habutai Silk Bias Ribbon. Silk weight 12mm.
Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
