When photographed, the ribbon reflects the coral hues, seeming brighter. In person, it is the perfect russet-coppery hue. 

After being dyed a vibrant yellow from marigold flowers, a collection of dried flowers is rolled into silk and steamed to create lasting prints. The final step is a dip dye in our  Ceriops tagal dye bath. Layers of color and floral markings make this a truly special ribbon. 

This silk ribbon is created from our premium 100% chemical-free silk satin. The heavy-weight silk has a satiny front side with a matte finish on the backside.

Plant Dyes are more subtle and complex than those created by synthetic dyes. You are purchasing a "living color" that is unique and one-of-a-kind. While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Our Satin ribbon is the finest quality Mulberry Silk. This luxurious ribbon has a shiny satin finish on one side and a beautiful matte texture on the other side. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Mulberry Silk Satin bias ribbon. Silk weight 16mm.

Gently hand wash. You can machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, but this will increase fraying on the edges. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang to dry or tumble dry, which will increase fraying on the edges. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
