One last chance with this beauty brought back from our private collection.

BOTANICAL PRINT no. 37

This ribbon is first dyed with Tansy and Goldenrod, to create an earthy green base color. Then, coreopsis flowers and stems, along with hollyhock flowers, are placed and rolled into the silk and steamed for hours.

An earthy hue for Fall & Winter wreaths!

The botanical prints vary. Some ribbons show more botanical prints and others have more subtle prints. Each ribbon is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Details

Plant Dyes are more subtle and complex than those created by synthetic dyes. You are purchasing a "living color" that is unique and one-of-a-kind. While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Habutai Silk Bias Ribbon. Silk weight 12mm.

Care

Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash.
