BOTANICAL PRINT No. 73

Starting with a French Blue base hue created from a dye bath of Peruvian Purple Corn, then flowers are rolled into the silk and steamed to create an array of botanical prints. Hollyhock, marigolds, and dahlia petals are sprinkled throughout creating bold markings of blue, yellow, and an occasional orange botanical print.

Each ribbon is a work of art. Use to wrap special gifts, adorn bridal bouquets, or tie on Easter Baskets!

Each ribbon is unique and markings vary on each ribbon.

While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Habutai Silk Bias Ribbon. Silk weight 12mm.
