Botanical Print No. 80 {Luxe}

$ 42.00

Botanical Print No. 80 {Luxe} starts with a soft earthy blush-coral base hue. Next, it is dyed using a "direct contact" dyeing method where dried coreopsis flowers are rolled into the silk, then steamed for hours to make a lasting imprint. This dyeing method creates a truly unique ribbon where each and every ribbon is one-of-a-kind.

The gold flower markings are subtle, creating a depth of color and interest that longs to be explored. This is the perfect ribbon for someone looking for a custom look and ribbon with character while being more subtle to not compete with the details in your bridal bouquet.

LUXE silk ribbon has a divine texture and silky softness. The most luxurious organic hand-loomed silk, with a rich matte finish. Sustainable ribbon for the luxury bride with an eco-conscious spirit.

This unique hand-loomed silk adds a truly special accessory to your bridal bouquet. This ribbon is Peace Silk, created from sustainably harvested organic silk cocoons.

Markings vary, each ribbon is a work of art.

Created from silk cocoons sustainably gathered from deep within a protected forest. Artisans, rich in the craft of hand-looming, have created this material with skill and tradition that has been passed down for hundreds of years.

This unique ribbon has a beautiful natural sheen and soft silky finish. The edges are cut clean but can be frayed for a soft feathery feel. This ribbon has a bias cut to create a natural flow and drape. Each ribbon is wound on an antique style wooden spool. 100% Organic hand-loomed "luxe" silk. Ahimsa, "peace silk".

Throughout the dyeing process, our ribbons are cooked in color and washed several times to ensure colorfastness. While hand washing is possible, due to the delicate nature of the material it is not recommended to maintain it's original texture. If needed, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang to dry. Iron on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
