Introducing Moody Marble Silk Ribbon - the unconventional silk ribbon. This edgy and grungy ribbon stands out with its one-of-a-kind patterns.

Crafted using natural botanical colors sourced from local walnuts and Cutch, a historical brown dye from the heartwood of the Acacia catechu tree. Through a meticulous process, we spent weeks manipulating the silk in and out of our natural dye baths, resulting in unique and mesmerizing marbling patterns.

Moody Marble features a blend of cool and warm tones. The dominant gray shade has hints of blue undertones and is beautifully swirled in various shades, ranging from light to nearly black. To add an extra touch, subtle brown swirls and marbled patterns are layered over the gray base.

Plant Dyes are more subtle and complex than those created by synthetic dyes. You are purchasing a "living color" that is unique and one-of-a-kind. While each lot of color is dyed in the same manner, with the same plant materials, slight variations & unique characteristics will make each ribbon special. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Habutai Silk Bias Ribbon. Silk weight 12mm.

Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
