This exotic and moody ribbon is created with walnut husks and solar dyeing to set in the amazing marbled markings. Creating this ribbon takes days of daily fabric manipulation to create the unique markings throughout this ribbon. Each ribbon is one-of-a-kind with an array of markings and tones that look similar to the markings of woodgrain. Some markings are intense, and others are more subtle. Each ribbon is a piece of art. Each ribbon varies in the intensity of marking.

Our habutai silk ribbons are washable and reusable! Machine wash separately gentle cycle/cold, or hand wash. Use mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron when just barely damp on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
