DOVE {Ethereal} is a classic bridal hue. The natural shimmer of our raw organic silk, combined with the soft dove hue, creates a magical feel of earthy elegance. We love Dove Ethereal as an added layer of texture. Combine with our Dove {Luxe} or our Dove classic for added texture and a custom look and a feel.

Our hand-loomed "ethereal" ribbon is custom-made and exclusive to Silk & Willow. This ribbon has a light and airy weight with a natural shimmer. This ribbon adds a unique texture to your bridal bouquet, to your gift-wrapping, and when tying together your wedding invitation suite. Our "ethereal" ribbons are soft and very delicate! It's the perfectly imperfect nature of the material which adds to the uniqueness! Expect variations in weave and width. Each batch varies. Limited supply, available while supplies last.

Ahimsa, peace silk.

Created from silk cocoons sustainably gathered from deep within a protected forest. Artisans, rich in the craft of hand-looming, have created this material with skill and tradition that has been passed down for hundreds of years.

"Ethereal" is an ultra-thin and delicate hand-loomed silk ribbon. Perfect on its own to create a truly ethereal feel or pair with our classic ribbon for a magical layer of texture. The edges are cut clean, but are very delicate and can be easily frayed for a soft feathery feel. This ribbon is bias cut to create a natural flow and drape. Due to the flexible nature of the bias cut, the width can appear thinner when pulled tight. Each ribbon is wound on a antique style wooden spool. 100% Organic "Ethereal" silk. Ahimsa, "peace silk".

Throughout the dyeing process, our ribbons are cooked in color and washed several times to ensure colorfastness. While hand washing is possible, due to the delicate nature of the material it is not recommended to maintain it's original texture. If needed, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild pH neutral soap, plant dyes are "living" color that can be shifted by chemicals and drastic changes in pH. Hang to dry. Iron on medium heat on the back side of the fabric.
