This styling textile is a SECONDS piece and may feature slight irregularities in the hand-loomed weave or some colour fading from extended exposure to bright direct sunlight on display in our studio.

Our Medium Weave textiles bring a gentle, airy beauty to any space. Each piece is handloomed from sustainably sourced, handspun cotton—crafted with the same devotion to heritage and thoughtful design found in our tight-weave cotton collection, but reimagined with a lighter, more open structure. Dyed with plant-based dyes, our blush hues are imbued with subtle, organic tones inspired by the landscape.
This medium weave is achieved through patient, traditional techniques that require refined skill, resulting in a textile that invites light and movement into your decor. Its delicate interplay of texture and light adds both depth and softness—a design that calls forth the feeling of hygge and the quiet refinement of wabi-sabi. Our cotton styling textiles can transform your project with the earthy hues and natural textures that only nature can provide. Whether you prefer a smooth, pressed look or the perfectly undone effect of our crinkled look, our cotton textiles add the rich layer of texture your project has been yearning for.
How They Arrive
We hang and air-dry each of our cotton textiles to offer versatility. They arrive folded and flat. We recommend removing fold creases before use. To remove fold lines, use a spray bottle with clean water and lightly spritz the fabric. Then, shake out the fabric and the creases will naturally fall away. Alternatively, you can iron or steam the fabric.
Three Ways to Style Them
1. Flat or Pressed: Clean and polished
Use them as they arrive and lightly iron or steam them for a crisp, formal finish.
2. Soft Crinkle: Relaxed and textured
Spritz with water while scrunching the fabric. Then put them in the dryer on high heat for a few minutes. This softens the cotton fibers and adds a light, natural crinkle.
3. Dramatic Crinkle: Full and romantic
Machine wash, then tumble dry. The textiles will shrink by a few inches and take on soft, puffy crinkles with more volume and movement.
Switch Looks Anytime
Every style is reversible. To return to the original shape, wash your textile and lay it flat or hang it to dry.

Wash separately using a gentle cycle with cold water, or opt for hand washing. Choose a chemical-free, mild, pH-neutral laundry detergent. For drying, either tumble dry on low or hang to air dry. Tumble drying adds a soft, natural crinkle to the fabric.
Important: Do not wash more than 15 yards of material at once, as the fabric will twist and tangle in the wash.

I just love this new dusty mauve !! I cut some 'Koko Loko' roses in my garden and cut dahlia 'Czarny Charakter' and added some sprigs of Winter Creeper, Euonymus, in the vase, and the dusty mauve ribbon paired perfectly, as I hoped it would!! The video doesn't capture the true colors, I wish you could see this in person!!! Thank you for creating such gorgeous ribbons!! I am a huge fan of Silk & Willow!!!
